our vision is To LIVE IN A COMMUNITY WITHOUT HUNGER, ISOLATION, OR LONELINESS
Need & response
In Arizona, nearly one out of every seven older adults has encountered food insecurity within the last year. This statistic underscores the critical role of access to fresh, nutritious food in determining health outcomes.
Since 1973, Prescott Meals on Wheels has delivered uninterrupted, essential, and life-giving service to the community. From 2022 to 2023, Prescott Meals on Wheels saw a 40% increase in demand for our services. As the need grows, so will our response.
Everything happens here because of the volunteers who partner with our staff to serve. They allow older adults in our community to maintain independence and dignity. There are several ways to volunteer your time and talent to immediately impact our community.
