Walking Trail in our Backyard

The Prescott Sunrise Lions Club, in partnership with The Center and Meals on Wheels, seeks your support to bring a transformative project to life. Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive outdoor space that will enhance the well-being of seniors and benefit the entire Prescott community.

The Lions Club has already contributed significant funds to kickstart the project by paving a walking-friendly quarter-mile path suitable for both young and old. The estimated cost for this initial phase of the trail is approximately $60,000.

The Center currently connects the community through various experiences, including an exercise room, as well as art and yoga classes. Many visitors also enjoy the delicious lunches offered at the Meals on Wheels Café. The addition of the walking trail will provide an opportunity for visitors to enjoy the outdoors, take leisurely strolls, or exercise their dogs.

Help Us Build a Lasting Legacy for Our Community: “Connecting Community to Nature.”

Funding Needs
Here’s how your contributions will help us complete the remaining phases:

  • Trail Development: $35,000
  • Bridges and Accessibility: $15,000
  • Benches: $5,000
  • Greenery: $5,000
