A quick reminder that I will be out of the office all of next week to attend the Meals on Wheels annual conference in San Antonio. Please see Jan if you need anything while I am gone.
Labor Day Frozen Meals on Monday, August 25th
Since Labor Day falls on Monday, September 1st, we will deliver frozen meals to all clients on Monday, August 25th. Frozen meals for your route will be in milk crates on the dining room table. Please ask a staff member for assistance or use one of our carts to move the crate to your vehicle.
Prescott Farmers Market Outreach
We will have a table at the Prescott Farmer’s Market this Saturday, August 23rd, from 8am – noon, in the Miller Valley Parking Lot (900 Iron Springs Road, across from the hospital). Naomi, Dylan, and members of our Outreach Committee will be sharing information about Meals on Wheels and recruiting new volunteers. If you’re there, please stop by, say hello, and wear your MOW T-shirt!
Volunteer Appreciation Halloween Party
Our next Volunteer Appreciation event will be a Halloween Party on Friday, October 31st. We’re planning an evening of fun, food, and a little “Reverse Trick or Treat” (details coming soon!). Please save the date and watch for your invitation.
