Adam’s Email: May 28

Hi Everyone,

I’m finally back from my trip to Japan—what an incredible experience! Thank you to Jan and Jeff for covering for me while I was away. If you’re curious, I’ve put together a Google Photos album with some highlights from the trip—feel free to take a look!
Here are a few upcoming events to keep on your radar:
  • Prescott Public Library’s 50th Anniversary: Fest in the West
Join the celebration on Friday, May 30th, from 5–8 PM at the library (215 Goodwin St.). Our Outreach Committee will be hosting a volunteer recruitment table in Space #9 in the parking lot—stop by and say hello!
  • Juneteenth Holiday Closure
Meals on Wheels will be closed on Thursday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth National Holiday. We’ll deliver frozen meals in advance:
    • To Prescott clients on Wednesday, June 11th
    • To Prescott Valley clients on Monday, June 16th
  • Culver’s Round Up Fundraiser for June
Throughout the month of June, Culver’s of Prescott is supporting us with a round up fundraiser. Plus, don’t miss the Share Night on Tuesday, June 17th, from 4–7 PM—a portion of all sales will go directly to Prescott Meals on Wheels. It’s a great way to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a great cause!
Finally, we are looking for help this Friday, May 30th, to cover the Gold and Pi routes. Please let me know if you are available.
