New Silver Route & Route Changes
You may have noticed that some of our routes have grown larger in recent weeks. Our active client count has now reached nearly 370 and has remained steady over the past month. To help ease the load on several northern Prescott routes, we will be introducing a new Silver Route, beginning the week of October 6th. This route will include clients currently on the Black, Brown, Teal, and Pink routes.
At the same time, we will be rebalancing client numbers and adjusting the boundaries of several routes to allow for continued growth in north Prescott and eastern Prescott Valley. These changes will primarily affect the Sigma, Delta, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Lavender routes. Over the next several days, I will be meeting with and emailing the drivers of these routes to review tentative changes, which we plan to finalize next week.
We understand that many of you have built close relationships with your clients, and that any change can feel challenging for both you and them. We appreciate your flexibility and hope this will be an opportunity to form new connections while continuing the vital service you provide to our community. Thank you for your support!
Volunteer Appreciation Halloween Party, October 31st
We are excited to invite you all to our Volunteer Appreciation Halloween Party on Friday, October 31st from 4-7PM here at Meals on Wheels. Please bring a guest and join us for food, fun, music, and surprises. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Please RSVP – this will be a popular event!
