Honoring our Veterans

It was a wonderful day in Prescott on Tuesday as our community came together for the annual Veterans Day Parade. Our team was honored to walk in the parade and to stand in gratitude for the men and women who have served our country.

Prescott Meals on Wheels currently serves more than one hundred veterans. Many of these neighbors rely on daily meals, friendly visits, and wellness checks to remain safe and independent in their own homes. Taking part in the parade allowed us to celebrate their service and remind our community that support for veterans continues long after the parade ends.

We were also proud to debut our new Prescott Meals on Wheels van during the event. The van is now ready for volunteers to use during deliveries, and it will help us reach more neighbors with nutritious meals and compassionate care.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the parade and to the many volunteers and donors who make our work possible every day.
