Prescott Meals on Wheels is thrilled to announce a $20,000 community impact grant from United Way of Yavapai County. The check presentation brought together PMOW staff and team members for a celebration that reflected the spirit of collaboration driving our mission forward.
United Way of Yavapai County invests in local nonprofits that align with its focus areas of health, education, financial stability, and support for the working poor, and Prescott Meals on Wheels is proud to be among the organizations making measurable change in our community.
Grants like this one are made possible by the generosity of employees across Yavapai County who give back through workplace giving campaigns. When local workers choose to support United Way, those dollars stay in the community, funding organizations like ours that serve our most vulnerable neighbors every day.
This funding will help us continue delivering nutritious meals and reducing isolation among homebound seniors across Prescott and the Prescott Valley. Our vision is a community without hunger, isolation, or loneliness, and grants like this one bring us closer to that goal every day.
We are deeply grateful to United Way of Yavapai County and to the employees throughout our region whose generosity makes this work possible. To learn more about United Way’s community impact funding, visit yavapaiuw.org.
